Vivavi, one of the premiere eco-minded furniture stores, has opened a "Pop-Up" store in Manhattan. The Brooklyn-based design outlet, which is the brainchild of lazy environmentalist Josh Dorfman, has partnered with the Riverhouse, a luxury "green" condo building located in Tribeca. The shop is part of a two-bedroom model unit that overlooks the Hudson River.

Items featured at the showroom include dining sets and furniture by Eviva, and are made from responsibly-sourced hardwoods and non-toxic varnishes; original mosaics by Schimmel Art, made from tiles cut from junk mail; handwoven and hand dyed rugs by Christian Rathbone and a fun lighting accessories and pillows by a well-chosen selection of local designers.
