Beloved Brooklyn boutique, Sodafine has always been one of our favorite shops, particularly when it was tucked away in Fort Greene and we felt like it was our own special secret. Now located in Williamsburg, this unassuming haven of emerging and eco-designers - plus a small collection of vintage - still tops our list of stores we admire. We not only love owner Erin Weckerle for her impeccable taste and her ability to set organic staples from John Patrick alongside edgier designs from Feral Childe, but we also appreciate Weckerle's nonchalant approach to the eco-trend.

"The eco factor sort of just fell into place," Weckerle says, as she describes her transition from a Philadelphia vintage store to a cutting-edge boutique.
In the beginning, Weckerle's art school friends contributed most of the merchandise, a lot of which incorporated reconstructed elements. "Sodafine was always motivated by supporting indie designers and operating outside of boutique trends," she says. "It was more about building our own community and making things that felt more personal. It was the next natural step to stock designers that focus on sustainability."
Sodafine now includes a terrific balance of pure organic dresses, tees and jeans by Loyale and one-offs and reconstructed pieces by Dear Birthday, SDN and Cecilia Prado.
