Romp: 7928 West Third St., Los Angeles, www.romp.uk.com
During a recent visit to L.A., we happened to stumble upon Romp, a newly opened luxury ecotique specializing in ethereal lingerie in floor-length silhouettes and organic leather goods. Much to our delight, this East London transplant stocks everything from thigh-high lace-up boots ethically made in Slovenia to luggage and interior pieces. Sure, the overwhelming focus on leather is a little excessive and we haven't donned a pair of leather pants since the 90s, but the couture house is the only one to date that is Soil Association certified, and certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard. This means ultra-glam goods made without toxic dyes, metals and other chemicals. The company has also launched a "traceability" program, which traces the complete lifecycle of its leather goods, including the names of all those involved in the creation of a garment.

The immense space is decked out in dark woods and accented with vintage furniture circa the 1920s. It's a must visit for any eco-fashionista.
